1. Learning the 42 Letter Sounds
The 42 sounds are divided into 7 groups, taught using stories, actions, and songs.

2. Blending (Reading Words)
- Combining individual sounds to read words.

4. Tricky Words (Common Irregular Words)
Words that don’t follow regular phonics rules, e.g., the, he, she, was, said, you, are, come, some, they, there, here.
5. Alternative Spellings & Sounds
- Learning different spellings for the same sounds.
